01How quickly can I go for my G2 road test?+
If you take our Ministry-approved course, you will be eligible for your G2 road test eight months after the issue date of your G1. Otherwise, you must wait a minimum of one year. Earning your Beginner Driver Education certificate reduces the waiting period by four months.
02How do I book my road test?+
Visit drivetest.ca, enter your information, and book the next available date at a DriveTest centre near you.

According to the Ministry of Transportation, you must finish the entire course within one year.
04Can I get an insurance discount with the certificate?+
New drivers who earn BDE certification may be eligible for an insurance discount. Eligibility depends on your insurer and factors such as your location, vehicle, and driving profile. Your Driver’s Licence History (DLH) provides proof of successful BDE completion and is widely recognized by the insurance industry.
05What does the full course program include?+
The full program consists of 20 hours of in-class or online theory, 10 hours of flexible instruction and homework, and 10 hours of in-vehicle training. These are the three Ministry requirements for certification eligibility.
06When will I get my certificate?+
Your certification is processed after you complete all theory, homework, and in-vehicle requirements. Please contact our office to confirm processing before requesting your Driver’s Licence History from ServiceOntario.
07What if I lose my certificate?+
You can visit any ServiceOntario location and request a replacement copy of your Driver’s Licence History. A service fee may apply.
08Do you provide pick-up and drop-off?+
Yes. Free pick-up and drop-off is provided within our service area. Restrictions may apply for out-of-town locations.
09What if I live outside your pick-up area?+
If your location is outside our service area, you can arrange a convenient meeting point with your instructor.
10Can I use my instructor’s car for the road test?+
Yes. You can use the instructor’s car for an additional cost based on the selected test centre. The service includes a refresher lesson on the day of the exam. Using the vehicle you learned in can help you feel more comfortable and confident.
11Are there age restrictions for driving lessons?+
There are no age restrictions for our driving programs.
12Can someone accompany me during in-car sessions?+
Only registered students are allowed during in-car lessons for insurance and liability reasons.
13Can I practise only parking?+
Yes. You can purchase individual driving lessons and focus on parking or any other driving skill.
14Can I take a refresher course for my G licence?+
Of course. We offer several refresher lesson packages to help you prepare for your test.
15What if I fail my test?+
You can take the test again after the required waiting period, which is currently 10 days.
